Went out for a sunset painting tonight
It was a beautiful sunset tonight. It was more subtle than many nights with only a few clouds around the sun. This led me to paint a "closeup." It was a quiet and still evening. There just isn't anything that compares with painting outside, with the fresh air, the chirping of crickets and the hush of evening turning into night.
